Mississippi police have arrested two brothers for allegedly murdering two policemen who stopped them for a traffic check of a 2000 Gold Cadillac Escalade.

The suspects are black, while pictures of the victims indicate than one is black and one is white.

The murders follow several shootings of policemen in New York City and elsewhere on the background of an explosion alleged racism and riots in the United States.

The slain policemen in the Mississippi city of Hattiesburg were identified as Benjamin Deen, 34, and Liquori Tate, 25.

One of the suspects, Marvin Banks, was arrested Sunday morning, and his brother Curtis still is at-large. The paper reported that Marvin Banks was arrested early Sunday morning. Curtis Banks is still at-large.
