Descendants of Aharon the High Priest gathered Wednesday at the Western Wall in Jerusalem to perform Birkat HaKohanim (Priestly Blessing), a ritual carried out on each of the three major festivals that take place during the Jewish year.

Those who perform the blessing are members of the Tribe of Levi.
