US President Trump is coming to Israel for his first official visit. He plans of visiting the Western Wall of the Temple Mount and giving an address at Masada. This is the first time an acting US President has visited these places.
What does this mean? What is the significance of Masada and why should foreign leaders follow Trump’s example and visit this historical place?
On today’s show I am going to tell about an OpEd I wrote years ago in response to then president Obama Cairo speech. At that time I called on Israel’s foreign ministry to bring visiting dignitaries to Masada and to climb up the steep path to the top of the mountain.
