Two armed Palestinian Authority Arabs were arrested Monday by Israel Defense Forces while approaching the security fence near the city of Jenin.

The suspects were among a group of several Arabs who were spotted by IDF soldiers approaching the fence, and were chased, the IDF Spokesperson said in a statement.

The two who were captured were carrying a knife and an M-16 assault rifle. Both were transferred to security personnel for interrogation.
