And on Sunday, Nov. 1, Adi participated, along with more than 50,000 other athletes, in the 45th annual New York City Marathon.

When the JewishPress.com spoke with Adi just days before the marathon, he said he felt ready, excited and well-prepared.

“Don’t believe it when people tell you that you can’t do something,” Adi told this reporter. “Choose your friends based on whether they say you can do something.”
