Ashdod Port

The IDF has announced a military drill will begin Sunday at Ashdod Port, and is slated to continue until Tuesday evening.

Israelis can expect to see heavy traffic from security forces and military vehicles, and to hear alarms in the port area as part of the exercise.

“We emphasize that the exercise was planned in advance as part of the training program for 2019, and is intended to maintain the readiness of the forces,” the IDF said in its statement.
