Thousands of Gazans riot at the border with Israel, throwing live grenades and explosives at IDF soldiers and into Israeli territory

Another Friday at Israel’s southern border with Gaza, another work week for Israel’s young soldiers wearing tens of kilos of military gear in massively hot temperatures in order to prevent wild young Arabs from tearing down the security fence and attacking nearby Jewish communities.

Some 6,000 of those Hamas-led rioters were gathered at the border this past Friday, hurling rocks, flaming Molotov cocktails and other improvised explosive devices (IEDs) at IDF soldiers.

There were no deaths reported in this week’s violence. But the Hamas Health Ministry said 55 of the rioters were injured, according to a report broadcast by Israel’s Channel 13 news. There is no way to independently verify the claim.
