The warning sirens sounded near the northern border with Lebanon and as far south as the Lower Galilee, including Mount Tabor and Emek Jezreel, several miles west of Beit Shean.

There were no explosions, and the IDF said the sirens went off due to a technical failure.

Or, the sirens were a very early warning for what might happen next year.
