Despite the uptick in balloon bomb attacks on southern Israel from Gaza, the Israeli military facilitated more than 80,000 humanitarian crossings to and from Gaza last week so that Gazans could receive medical treatment in Israel.

More than half a million Arabs entered Israel from the Palestinian Authority from January 12 to 18, according to the IDF Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories.

More than 8,750 permits were issued for entrance into Israel by Palestinian Authority Arabs, and there were more than 372,860 entries into Israel by Palestinian Authority workers last week as well. In addition, 63,748 people traveled through the Allenby Bridge border crossing with Jordan, according to the COGAT.
