The municipalities of Tel Aviv suburbs of Ramat Gan and Bat Yam have both ordered the opening of their cities’ public bomb shelters in light of the escalating security situation in southern Israel.

Earlier in the day, the cities of Rishon Lezion, Givatayim and Netanya opened their public bomb shelters as well.
