After 28 days of quiet, a Red Alert incoming rocket siren warned Israeli residents along the Gaza border that a projectile was launched in their direction.

Communities along the Gaza border have 15 seconds or less in which to reach a safe space / bomb shelter.

A security source told TPS the siren was “likely activated due to anti-aircraft machine gunfire from Gaza, not rocket fire.”

The siren activated about an hour after the Israel Air Force began bombing Hamas terrorist targets.
