Few realized that he would continue his rancor, as he had told one media outlet, that he could not in good conscience endorse a man who had “attacked his wife Heidi and his father during the primaries and then come to heel like a puppy dog.”

Spoken like a true fighting Texan perhaps, but not like a professional politician and more to the point, not like a Republican committed to preventing Hillary and Bill Clinton from reaching the White House again.

Sheldon and Miriam Adelson invested more than $92 million in the GOP during the 2012 presidential elections, however. They appear far more concerned about ensuring the right candidate reaches the White House, than caring about “puppy dogs.”
