Fighters from the IDF’s Nahal Brigade combat team under the command of Division 162 have destroyed a booby-trapped building in northern Gaza spotted by a military drone.

In the destroyed building, the drone identified explosives hidden in a bag targeting Israeli forces.

The troops also eliminated terrorists carrying explosives.

The soldiers have been working in Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip as part of Operation “Gideon’s Chariots.”

In recent weeks, multiple terrorist targets have been attacked from the air and on the ground, including terrorists, weapons caches, booby-trapped structures, launchers, and tunnel shafts.

The Givati Brigade under the command of the 162nd Division is also in northern Gaza, operating in the Jabaliya area.

As have the Nahal Brigade forces, Givati Brigade troops have eliminated numerous terrorists in recent weeks. They have also located and dismantled weapons hidden inside residential buildings, and dismantled terror infrastructure both above and below ground, including tunnel shafts and underground terror tunnel routes.
