Direct Iranian missile hit at Soroka hospital in Be'er Sheva, June 19, 2025.

After a relatively quiet night, Thursday morning saw a heavy missile barrage launched from Iran toward Israel. Air raid sirens were activated across central Israel, Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria, the north, and the Galilee. Multiple impacts were reported in central and southern cities, including a direct strike on Be’er Sheva’s Soroka Medical Center.

Hospital officials confirmed significant damage: “There is damage to the hospital and widespread destruction in various areas. We are currently assessing the full extent, including potential injuries.”

One hospital building sustained a direct hit so severe that its structural integrity is now in question, with fears it may collapse. Large police forces and Magen David Adom teams rushed to the scene to assess casualties and secure the area.

Fortunately, in anticipation of such strikes, patients had been preemptively relocated to protected underground wards under Health Ministry directives, likely preventing mass casualties.
