Defense Minister Israel Katz has instructed the IDF to prepare an “enforcement plan” as a follow-up to Operation Rising Lion in Iran.
The plan is aimed at preserving Israel’s aerial superiority in the skies above the Islamic Republic and preventing Tehran from advancing its nuclear development and missile projects, along with blocking Iranian support for its terrorist proxies.
“We will act regularly to thwart threats of this nature,” Katz said in a statement.
“I suggest the defanged head of the snake in Tehran understand and beware: ‘Operation Rising Lion’ was only the preview of a new Israeli policy. After Oct. 7, immunity is over.”
Earlier in the week, Mossad director David Barnea announced that Israeli operatives will continue covert activities in Iran.
“We will be there, as we have been,” Barnea said in a video message underlining the agency’s work as a strategic imperative for national security and regional stability.
“We’ve worked for months and years to carry out the necessary actions and reach the right moment,” he added.
