Defense Minister Israel Katz issued a stern warning to Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei Tuesday morning during a high-level military briefing, comparing his potential fate to that of Saddam Hussein.
“I warn the Iranian dictator against continuing to commit war crimes and fire missiles at Israeli citizens,” Katz said. “He should remember what happened to the dictator in the country neighboring Iran who took this path against the State of Israel.”
Katz called on residents in Tehran to evacuate for their own protection.
“Residents of Tehran: Do not endanger yourselves and do not be hostages in the hands of the dictator who is using you for his own survival,” the defense minister warned.
“Israel’s long hand will continue to reach every enemy, everywhere.”
Katz emphasized that Israel will continue its strikes on Iranian regime and military infrastructure in Tehran.
