Sherman told the TPS news agency: “I went to work at the party headquarters and drove from Elon Moreh [with my daughter] to Tapuah. A few meters before the Beitot junction, a terrorist with a knife jumped on the vehicle and tried to open the door. I got out, and while the terrorist was trying to circle the vehicle in my direction, I neutralized him with gunfire, with the assistance of a truck driver from Yitzhar who was driving behind me.”

Sherman’s daughter was in the car with him.

The terrorist was evacuated to Beilinson (Rabin) Medical Center in Petah Tikva, and subsequently died of his wounded.
