An IDF soldier was wounded Sunday night when a Hamas-led terrorist hurled an explosive device at him during violence at the Gaza border.

Dozens of rioting Gazans began hurling explosives and rolling burning tires at the security fence and at the soldiers themselves who were defending the border from the attackers.

The violence is part of what Hamas has named “Night Confusion” and has begun to renew in recent weeks.

The wounded soldier was evacuated to Barzilai Medical Center in Ashkelon. He is listed in fair condition.
