Israelis in southern Israel were told to stay near their safe spaces and bomb shelters on Wednesday night after it became clear that Gazans were committed to a night of launching rocket attacks on their Jewish neighbors.

Israel Defense Forces attacked 12 ‘terror targets’ throughout Gaza on Wednesday night, including the manufacturing facility the military said had helped to build the attack tunnels.

Gaza terrorists launched dozens of missiles at southern Israel, beginning at around 7:30 pm with a barrage aimed at the border city of Sderot.

The Iron Dome aerial defense system had successfully intercepted four of the rockets by 11 pm, each of which had been headed towards a densely populated area of the south.

Most of the other projectiles landed in open areas.
