Following developments in the security situation and according to the state’s decision, EL AL and Sundor’s regular flight schedule is canceled through June 27, 2025. Additionally, EL AL and Sundor flights scheduled to depart through July 15, 2025, have been closed for new bookings in the booking systems until the security situation becomes clearer, and with the aim of providing solutions for passengers whose flights were canceled.
We continue to operate in coordination with governmental security authorities.
Outbound Flights from Israel
We are preparing to operate outbound flights from Israel, subject to government approval And Framework. At this stage, we invite customers wishing to depart from Israel to register via the dedicated form.
Flights for outbound passengers will be operated only after receiving approval and in accordance with the framework set by the government, including the number of passengers permitted on each flight. According to government approval, the number of passengers on each flight will be limited to approximately 50.
Due to the situation, EL AL and Sundor flights scheduled to depart through July 15, 2025, (inclusive) have been closed for new bookings in the booking systems. Therefore, a passenger departing from Israel will be able to book a flight only for a dates after this period. It is important to note that customers whose EL AL or Sundor flights from Israel were canceled may use their original ticket at no additional cost.
Subject to approval, outbound flights from Israel are expected to operate to the following key gateways:
- Europe: Larnaca, Athens, Rome, Paris, and London.
- USA: New York and Los Angeles.
- Far East: Bangkok.

Customers Whose Flight Was Canceled
Customers holding a ticket for a canceled flight may choose between a credit voucher or a refund. The entire flight schedule for EL AL and Sundor is canceled through June 27, 2025.

Customers Wishing to Cancel Their Flight
In light of the current security situation, we have implemented a flexible policy: We are allowing customers whose bookings were made up to and including June 13, and who hold tickets for departures up to and including July 15, 2025, to cancel their flight and convert their tickets into a credit voucher for future use. This policy will be updated as needed.

Recovery Flights to Israel
In order to bring as many passengers home as quickly and efficiently as possible, and subject to state restrictions and approvals, we will focus its operations in the coming week on flights from central gateways that offer high connectivity from numerous other locations:
Europe: Flights will operate from London, Paris, Larnaca, Athens, and Rome.
USA: Flights will operate from New York and Los Angeles.
The Far East: Flights will operate from Bangkok.
EL AL and Sundor customers will be asked today to update their preferred recovery gateway, should they wish to change it, via an email that will be sent to them directly. Passengers who registered via the dedicated form are assigned for these flights.
Passengers assigned to these flights receive a notification. There is no need to contact customer service.
Since the start of the recovery flight operations to Israel, we have successfully returned thousands of passengers within approximately seven days from their original flight date. We aim to shorten this timeframe, depending on the state’s authorization to increase flight frequency, and we are prepared accordingly.
- We emphasize that we operate strictly in accordance with the directives of the relevant security and aviation authorities.
- The recovery flight schedule is subject to change and relevant approvals.
- Priority for flight assignment is based on the original flight cancellation date and urgent medical humanitarian cases.
- Our crews and aircraft are on standby, awaiting further instructions from the authorities to operate flights at maximum capacity and as soon as possible.
- Flights will be operated gradually, subject to government approvals.
- Passengers holding a valid EL AL or Sundor ticket to Israel whose flight was canceled are eligible for a recovery flight at no additional cost.
