A Jewish woman was “physically harassed’ — a technical term that does not address the trauma she experienced in what was actually an attack — by two black teens (male and female) on the final day of 2019 in the Crown Heights section of Brooklyn.

According to a report by the CrownHeights.info news site, one of the two teens brazenly grabbed and pulled off the Jewish woman’s sheitel (wig) as they passed her on the sidewalk on Eastern Parkway between Troy and Schenectady Avenues. Then without saying a word, they sauntered away.

With great presence of mind, the victim quickly snapped a photo of the two teens using her smart phone, and sent the photo and a description to the Crown Heights Shomrim civil patrol. She also called 911.

The teens managed to escape, but a report has been filed with the local police precinct and it is hoped the culprits will be tracked down — even though under the new bail-free law, there will be no real consequence or punishment meted out anyway.
