If I could go back in time, and relive the moment when my friend refused to hear anything about my daughter because she didn’t go to Israel for seminary, I would have unglued my tongue from the top of my mouth and replied with honesty.

“Thank you for letting me know that,” I would have said. “Because we are only looking for boys from families that care first and foremost about our daughter’s middos tovos, sincerity, kindness, chesed, and faith!”
