On Saturday evening, a large Chinese balloon that floated across the border from Lebanon into Israel caused a security scare in Metula (Metulla) in northern Israel.
Metula’s main road was shut down after the initially unidentified balloon got caught in some trees and there was concern it may have been weaponized.
