This year our teshuvah will not be perfunctory because it will come not only from the mind as in previous years but also from the heart; out of a deep sense of conviction that our Torah and our mitzvos are the key to being an am chacham v’navon, a wise and understanding nation that has a God Who is close to us whenever we call Him.
May this be the year we will truly elect to become an agudah achas laasos retzoncha b’levav shalem – a single group to do Your will wholeheartedly,” with unity, kindness, and respect for each other.
