Police have begun putting up “temporary”, portable, concrete walls in the Jabel Mukaber neighborhood of Jerusalem, adjacent to the Armon HaNatziv neighborhood.

The police hope these temporary structures will prevent the Arabs of Jabel Mukaber from throwing firebombs at the Jewish-owned homes in Armon HaNatziv as well as at police, as they have been doing.

Of course, as everyone knows, there’s nothing more permanent than something that is temporary, and besides, who knows when the Arabs of Jabel Mukaber will finally decide to start behaving like civilized human beings again (and if so, for how long).
