Gaza rioters seen during clashes with Israeli soldiers near the Israel-Gaza border, east of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip, March 2, 2018.

The weather was beautiful on Friday afternoon, as violent Gazans led by Hamas terrorists once again trooped down to the border with Israel to hurl rocks, Molotov cocktails and hand grenades at IDF soldiers protecting the Jewish settlements and their civilian residents who live nearby.

At least 6,000 Gaza residents came to participate in the violence, including one person who attempted to climb over the border security fence. IDF soldiers took the infiltrator into custody and then returned him to Gaza.

According to the Hamas Health Ministry, 39 people were injured in the violence. The claim could not be independently verified, however.
