Players on the Argentine soccer team said they warned Lionel Messi and Jorge Sampaoli to not cancel the team’s game with Israel, and if they did, the team would fall under a curse, according to a writer for Mundial De Fondo who spoke with the Israeli website ONE.

One player has since been injured, another was accused of sexual harassment, and as we all know, Argentina couldn’t beat Iceland.

The Argentinians believe their team’s visit in 1986 and the blessing from their prayers at the Kotel helped them win the world championship.

Now some Argentinians are beginning to think they actually are cursed for cancelling the game in Israel and giving in to the threats from the anti-Semites.
