Windshield of Egged bus smashed in stoning attack on Highway 60 near T-junction. (archive)

An Israeli bus driver was injured and his bus was damaged Monday night when the vehicle came under a hail of rocks hurled by Palestinian Authority terrorists near the “T” junction in eastern Gush Etzion.

The windshield of the bus was smashed by the rocks in the attack, prompting the driver to hit the brakes and bring the vehicle to an abrupt stop.

Hatzalah Without Boundaries reported the driver sustained a “minor” head wound, for which he was treated by medics at the scene. No other physical injuries were reported in the attack.

The “T” junction is situated close to the Jewish community of Tekoa and Nokdim, home to Yisrael Beytenu party chairman Avigdor Liberman.
