A Jew, a soldier and a Druze watch - very carefully - the Syrian side of the Golan Heights.

The Druze community is planning a massive demonstration on Saturday ot the border with Syria in Majdal Shams.

Thousands are expected to attend, and the protest in a show of support for the endangered Druze community across the border in Syria.

If security conditions permit, the Druze community in Syria may also try to approach the Golan Height fence on the their side of the border.

The Druze community received permission from the police to hold the protest.

But there is concern that with that many people along the border, it may inspire the Syrian army or the Al-Nusra rebel groups to open fire on the easy targets.
