El Al Airlines, the national airline of Israel

El Al chief executive David Maimon has resigned after serving four years as head of Israel’s national airline.

During his tenure Maimon supervised the procurement of 16 Boeing 787 Dreamliners for the airline where he has spent a total of 12 years in various roles.

It’s not yet clear when he will leave the company, but in his letter to the board, Maimon agreed to stay on until a new chief executive is selected.
