The US Food and Drug Administration has approved emergency use of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine for children ages 12 to 15.

FDA Acting Commissioner Dr. Janet Woodook called the move a ‘significant step in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.”
