IDF forces on Monday arrested an Arab who crossed the border between Israel and Gaza.

The Arab was caught shortly after crossing into Israel in the southern area of the Gaza Strip. The troops found a knife near his point of entry and believe he was armed with it before being captured.

The suspected-terrorist was turned over to Israeli security forces for further questioning.

This incident occurred just a day after IDF forces arrested a group of five Arabs who crossed into Israel from Gaza. All were armed with knives, other sharp objects and a wire-cutter. They were taken for questioning.

In related news, IDF forces carrying out counter-terrorism operation throughout Judea and Samaria on Sunday night arrested 16 Arabs suspected of connections to terrorism.
