A bride and groom that planned to wed Wednesday night had to call off the nuptials at the last minute because the groom, who is from Belgium, came down with a case of the measles, according to a report posted on the Matzav.com website.

The wedding was to be held at the Va’Yoel Moshe wedding hall in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn, New York. But the groom was found to be ill with the measles virus upon his arrival in the United States.
