Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud (MBS)

A somewhat bemused Jewish national political reporter for NBC News this week posted to his Twitter account what may be the first-ever Rosh HaShana greeting from the Embassy of Saudi Arabia to American Jews.

The good wishes for a “happy and sweet New Year” came from the new Saudi Ambassador to the United States, Reema Bandar Al Saud bint Bandar. An additional, sweet little hand-written “Happy Shana Tova” signature was added in the bottom right-hand corner of the card to personalize the greeting.
