Rabbi Moshe Azman, the chief rabbi of Ukraine recommended, in a letter to Education Minister Naftali Bennett, that it might be better to move the Holocaust March of the Living trips from Poland to the Ukraine, in response to the new Polish law.

Azman said that the Ukraine has a number of places appropriate for the March of the Living, including Babi Yar in Kiev, Drobytsky Yar in Kharkiv, and the Janowska concentration camp in Lviv.
