In recent weeks, Golani Brigade forces have operated in the Morag Corridor, located between the Khan Younis and Rafah areas. To date, the forces have neutralized hundreds of terrorist infrastructures, eliminated dozens of terrorists, and discovered dozens of tunnel openings.

In recent days, the forces destroyed the tunnel through which the terrorists fled and detonated the IED, killing two IDF soldiers and wounding two others.

After the detonation, the terrorists fled through a booby-trapped opening toward an underground tunnel that extended hundreds of meters. In a precise operation, the forces located the route and destroyed it.

During the destruction of the tunnel route, another terrorist cell operating in the area and hiding inside it was eliminated.

Meanwhile, IDF forces are continuing their operations throughout Gaza as part of Operation Gideon’s Chariots, attacking more than 160 targets in the past 24 hours.

According to the IDF, terrorist cells, anti-tank missile launch sites, and military buildings were targeted in northern Gaza.

Underground tunnel paths and a weapons warehouse were targeted in central Gaza.

Terrorist cells, military buildings, anti-tank missile launch sites, and booby-trapped buildings were targeted in southern Gaza, along with an operations room belonging to Gaza’s consolidated terrorist organizations.
