While mainstream media are focused on events in Iran, IDF soldiers are continuing Iron Sword operations in Gaza as they work to dismantle the Hamas terrorist organization and return the hostages home to Israel.

IDF combat engineers have destroyed a terrorist tunnel in northern Gaza that ran some two and a half kilometers (one and a half miles) long.

The combat engineers were members of the 401st Brigade under the command of the 162nd Division are operating in the Jabaliya area of the northern Gaza.

The subterranean tunnel routes were being used by Hamas terrorists for prolonged stays, the IDF said.
