The explosion happened around 10:35 PM, just outside the Manchester Arena, as people were exiting the concert.

Police believe they have identified the probable suicide bomber. They say he was wearing a suicide belt and the bomb was laced with nails.

British Prime Minister Theresa May called it “an appalling suicide attack.”

The attack is very reminiscent of Hamas’s 2001 suicide bombing of the Dolphinarium club in Tel Aviv which murdered 21 people, mostly teenage girls.
