Police Thugs Brutalizing Jewish Bystanders

A Jewish pedestrian wearing a yarmulke who protested police manhandling of Israelis during a parade in Jerusalem was grabbed and thrown about by several Israeli police – while his wife was screaming in vain that he had nothing to do with the parade.

Following the beating, the pedestrian was let go.

Jerusalem Police on Tuesday evening arrested seven Jews who participated in the Returning to the Mountain parade – some of whom required medical attention due to police brutality, the Honenu legal aid society reported. Two of the marchers were detained overnight and will be brought before a judge Wednesday.

Honenu attorney Rehavia Piltz is at the police station to provide legal assistance to the detainees.
