With the approaching April 9 elections, the Sovereignty Movement is embarking on a campaign to boost the parties that are committed to the vision of Israeli sovereignty in Judea and Samaria, Women in Green leaders Yehudit Katsover and Nadia Matar said in a press release they sent out on Wednesday.

“Our campaign is not affiliated with any particular party, nor does it support political figures from any specific party,” the co-leaders wrote, adding, “Our call is two-fold – it is directed at the representatives as well as the voters.”

“We are making a comprehensive call for all representatives in the Right camp in their various parties to stand behind their praiseworthy declarations of commitment to the vision of sovereignty,” they explained. “At the same time, our call is also intended for the general public of voters to support those parties that have made sovereignty an integral part of their political platform.”

According to the Sovereignty website, “the Israeli Right is not satisfied with warning about the Left’s delusional vision; it is presenting its own plan which entails the application of full sovereignty in all regions of our Land. This plan has many channels – security, economy, demographics, philosophical, political and more. With the passing of recent years Women in Green has been leading the Sovereignty Campaign and has brought up for public discourse the various issues that complete the mosaic of the vision of sovereignty.”
