Hezbollah drone shot down by the IAF after crossing the Lebanese border into Israel. Jan. 4, 2022

The Israel Defense Forces shot down a small quadcopter drone sent by the Iranian-backed Hezbollah terrorist organization Tuesday night after it crossed the Lebanese border into Israeli territory.

The drone was monitored by Israel Air Force units throughout the incident, the Israeli military said.

“The IDF will continue to act to prevent any violation of the sovereignty of the State of Israel,” the IDF added in a statement.
