Qassam rocket landed in the street in the Eshkol Regional Council district (file)

Terrorists in Gaza launched a rocket at southern Israel on Wednesday night, towards the Eshkol Regional Council district.

The Red Alert incoming rocket siren was activated in the Jewish community of Kissufim at about 9:10 am, sending families with small children once again racing for safe spaces with just seconds to reach their bomb shelters.

Security sources said the projectile landed in an open area in the Eshkol district. There were no physical injuries and no property damage was reported.
