The following is an interview with Jo Anne Simon that was conducted as part of an ongoing series of interviews of candidates running for Brooklyn Borough President.

Jo Anne Simon, represents the 52nd Assembly District in the NYS Assembly. Her Assembly district includes Cobble Hill, Prospect Heights, Park Slope and Carrol Gardens. She is a practicing attorney that established a disability and civil rights practice in Downtown Brooklyn. If elected as the Brooklyn Borough President, she would be the first woman to serve in that office.
