Egyptian Referendum on Dec. 15

JewishPress Logo

Egyptian President Morsi has called for a referendum on the country’s constitution to be held on December 15th.

Demonstrations and rallies, some of them violent, both for and against Morsi have been held in the recent days.

Some of the recent demonstrations were about Morsi’s attempt to consolidate more dictatorial powers for himself.

One Response to “Egyptian Referendum on Dec. 15”

  1. Arthur B. Levy says:

why is any thinling Jew surprised? Prior to the overthrow of the government in 2011 we had a 30 year cold peace with Egypt. I cried then knowing things could only get worse for Israel and Obama verbally gave the Brotherhood his blessings never once in his speech a challenge to honor treaties with Israel. We Americans get the government we deserve. The product of ill informed stupid people.
