Cpl. T, the Terminator

Peace Now head Yariv Oppenheimer called in a Hebrew-language tweet on Thursday for the IDF to send a hero soldier on leave after he saved lives and prevented major tragedies.

The soldier in question had eliminated three murderous Arab terrorists who attempted attacks over the past two weeks.

“It would be good for the IDF to give leave a few days leave to the soldier that was involved in preventing the terror attack. A situation where a soldier kills 3 attackers in 2 days is not good for the soldier or for the Matzav [situation]”

It’s not clear how a soldier successfully killing three terrorists is not good for the current situation. It seems to only be not so good for the terrorists.

The soldier in question is IDF Cpl. “T” of the Shimshon Battalion in the Kfir Brigade. The soldier shot and killed an Arab terrorist Thursday night when he tried to stab fellow troops in Gush Etzion. Last week, he killed two other terrorists in a similar attack, also in Gush Etzion.

The soldier, only been in uniform for eight months, was referred to in a JewishPress.com article as “The Terminator” – an appellation that caught the eye of the Bethlehem-based Ma’an news service, which quoted the report.

The soldier’s Kfir Brigade officers have commended the rapid response and cool temper of the young warrior, whose actions under pressure prevented more serious results.
