As always, we’re indebted to Yishai Fleisher, who’s been risking life and limb taking these fantastic images of Jerusalem under snow, on the Sunday after the storm.

In case you’re wondering, temps in Jerusalem right now are 7 Celsius, or a comfortable 44 Fahrenheit. So, unless we get another weather in Israel, this will all be gone come monday.

All the images in this article are by Yishai Fleisher, who does mostly radio year round, but on special occasions can snap a dynamite picture.

  8. I really like the pic of the kid making the most of the moment by building an igloo. It's odd seeing snow where there are palm trees. Did ice bring those trees down, btw? Ice storms usually do that kind of damage.
