US Refuses Peace “Gesture” to Netanyahu, Pollard to Remain in Jail

Israel Channel 2 reports that following the US demands that Israel release 82 Palestinian terrorists with blood on their hands as a “gesture” to the Palestinian Authority ahead of the peace talks, PM Netanyahu turned it around and requested from the US, that in exchange, the US should release Jonathan Pollard as a “gesture” to Israel, in order to help Netanyahu sell the release of these mass murderers to his cabinet, and at least be able to claim that Israel achieved something positive from these talks.

The US turned Netanyahu down.

Apparently the US is not prepared to make concessions, offer gestures, or take risks for peace. Only Israel is required to do that.

  1. Yep, it's "Do as I say, not as I do" when it comes to showing a gesture of good will. 84 to 1 is a pretty generous offer on the part of Israel.

  2. I love that answer!

  3. The oeace talks are a sham isreal should just annex ut all and be done with it.

  4. Now, if Bibi has even a modicum of self respect, he will catagorically refuse to release any prisoners. Fat chance.

  5. Ron Ander says:

How many times can you flog a dead horse? How many more Jews will die because of terrorists being freed and returned to their families as heros while Israel gets blamed again for the peace porcess not working? We all need to realize that the U.S.A. doesn't want our beloved Jonahan Pollard to be freed. But don't worry, Obama will free another condemmed turkey next Thanksgiving!

  6. Chaiya Eitan says:

Mr. Prime Minister – show some Jewish pride – refuse to release any prisoners unless Pollard is released!

  7. When President Reagan was once asked why he is putting pressure on Israel he replied, because they allow it. Will we never Learn?

  8. No prisoner release until Pollard is released.

  9. They will not release Pollard while Sheikh Omar is in prison.

  10. Ron Kall says:

Here is my peace process, all arabs leave Israel and live happily ever after in a wonderful arab country and all Jews, what's left of them will leave arab countries! Then. all arabs are free to kill each other like they are already doing in Syria, Egypt Iraq etc! Oh, and you arabs can feel free to blame the Jews for making you kill each other!

  12. Cody Flecker says:

Israel is afraid of it backside when it comes to the USA. The terrorists will be released, and Israel will receive nothing except more heartache. Don't forget that over 70% of the Jewish voting public voted twice for Obama and the Democrats. Do you think that these Jew haters will turn on their messiah? I don;t think so.

  13. Yechiel Baum says:

Osama Obama presses to free convicted terrorist and Talaban from Gitmo while he imprisons a Jew for doing his job which as president he should have informed Israel anyway. Yet, he wants justice for the Black teenager who was up to no good. What a shameful hypocrite and role model. the U.S. president is.

  14. Yechiel Baum says:

It is time for Israel to DEMAND a swap for Pollard for information on how Israel improves US weaponry.

  15. Myriam Obadia says:

    so do I

  16. Dan Silagi says:

Pollard sold U.S. classified information to the highest bidder. The highest bidder happened to be Israel. It could have just as easily have been Iran. Let Pollard rot in prison. Think about how many pro-Israel U.S. presidents, which comprises all of them since Jimmy Carter, had the opportunity to free Pollard. None did, and for good reason.

  17. Lee Pagnini says:

Quit taking prisoners. Let "justice run it`s course", out in the field, like G-d intended. He told you to wipe out the Canaanites, you didn`t listen. No one.thinks you should defend yourself, not even America, who is the onlyone who pretends to be your friend. We gave a good example with Bin Laden, catch him, kill him, give him a perfect Moslem funeral, AT SEA. No martyr, no holy site.

  18. Killers can't be freed. International espionage is a completely different ball game, the US buy info from ill gotten sources, why is an Israeli singled out. The US was lucky the info went to Israel and not one of it's enemies. There will always be espionage, no one generally gets killed other than the odd individual on the case. Terrorists commit mass murder, just like Hitler's SS forces did in WWII.

  19. Don't release any of them.

  20. Rob Jackson says:

how about no prisoner release at all and no Pollard release till deceased!

  21. What planet is Netanyahu on? What happened to the tough, articulate, right wing leader he was purported to be? Did he ever hear about what happened after Munich in 1938?

  24. Annie Barron says:

Please do not make any teaties with the president of the U.S. while he is on his Islam is peaceful tour…and making peace deals does not make peace. While rockets fly overhead and into your country, Israel, that is not peace; while you are surrounded and the U.S. President insists on the 1967 undefenseable borders, which is not the actual borders of Israel originally…just do not jump off that cliff just because Obama said so. Good grief. What an embarrasement for the U.S. this President is.

  25. Annie Barron says:

Only proving that there has been more than one idiot who became President of the U.S. Israel is not responsible for the U.S. power brokers who are not doing anything in the interest of their fellow man, but only in interest of their wealth and power. The same old same old.
