At least 10 people are suspected of having been involved in the massive Bangkok bombing that left 20 dead and numerous others wounded this week, police say.

In a news briefing Thursday with reporters, Bangkok police chief Somyot Poompanmuang said, “It is a big network. There was preparation using many people.

“This includes those who were lookouts on the streets, who prepared the bomb and those at the site… those who knew the escape route. There must have been at least 10 people involved,” he said.

It is believed the attack was planned at least a month in advance, and the prime suspect in the case was foreign. Few other details are clear, however. Assistance has been requested from Interpol. No terror group has claimed responsibility for the bombing.
