An IDF force on Wednesday morning identified a terror squad that appeared to be planting an explosive charge near the border perimeter fence in the northern Golan Heights.

The force, comprised of infantry and armored soldiers, opened fire at the squad and registered a hit.

IDF sources have surmised that the squad was sent by Hezbollah. Last week, Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah threatened to avenge the IDF attack on a convoy delivering weapons into Lebanon from war-torn Syria.
