An Israeli public bus was damaged Wednesday afternoon in a terrorist stoning attack in the Jerusalem neighborhood of A-Tur.

The bus was empty of passengers as it passed the Al Mokased Hospital at the time of the attack.

The windshield of the bus was shattered under the hail of rocks.

The bus driver, an Israeli Arab resident of Be’er Sheva, told police that he erred on his route and entered the neighborhood by mistake.

Israeli security forces launched a search of the area to hunt for the perpetrators.
